The time of sunrise and sunset are auspicious times when the ability
to tap into the subtleties of life and its rhythms are greatest.
It is the part of the day where you will have the deepest reward
from a yoga and spiritual practice. Sunrise yoga is a wonderful
foundation for your day and a yoga tradition. Open level flowing
sequence.
Gentle
yoga
A slow variety of preparations and poses that free the joints
and relax the system, a good choice for those with stiffness
and soreness, injuries and spinal curvature or discomfort,
or just wanting a mellow, nurturing experience, flowing to
soothing music.
Moderate
yoga
Paced for an intermediate experience of warm ups and postures
and incorporating more standing postures with some challenge.
A mix of mellow and energizing, and an over all well rounded
class.
Vigorous
yoga
A more challenging posture flow that is stimulating and warming
to the body, (not heated room), coordinated with breath that
incorporates some holdings. Postures are available for someone
with previous experience, flowing to upbeat, inspirational
music.
Yoga/Pilates
fusion on the mat
Combines yoga’s wisdom and awareness of opening the spine, moving from
the core, and breath, aligned with some pilates form and structure. This class
is good for those wanting to incorporate more awareness into their yoga, for
strength, flexibility, and consciousness, and very good for those with back
issues
Adaptive
and chair yoga
For people with limited mobility, balance and gait. Well suited
for those with autoimmune conditions like MS, arthritis and
more.
Integrative
yoga therapy
a subtle, yet powerful experience of yoga’s healing
tools and techniques. |
Restorative
yoga nidra, meditation
Some yoga poses coordinated with breath to prepare the body for guided imagery,
deep relaxation and mediation or focused attention. The deep rest and relaxation
of yoga nidra is rejuvenating and healing.
Tap
Dance
A fun warm up prepares you for learning steps that are woven
together into daily combinations. A variety of musical styles.
Occasionally improvisation may also be included. All levels
welcome. Individual class levels will form as needed
